  • A 9/11 25th Anniversary Tribute

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, I offer this recording of Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings in solemn remembrance.
Twenty-five years have passed, yet the names, the faces, the grief, and the courage of that day remain with us. We remember those whose lives were taken, the families who continue to carry their absence, the survivors, the first responders, and all whose lives were forever changed.
There are moments when words cannot adequately hold the weight of our sorrow. Music enters that sacred silence. Through the voice of the organ, I offer Barber’s Adagio as a prayer without words—a space to grieve, remember, and hope.
May the memory of those we lost remain a blessing. May God comfort those who still mourn. And may we recommit ourselves to the work of peace.
